Growing Grounds

2011 birthed the Global Alliance Growing Grounds!

Global Alliance healing team volunteers constructed and planted our first Sharing Garden.

We have groomed and planted and will continue to propagate chemical-free vegetables and fruit for our membership and our local community of Santa Margarita.  We will develop a program of supporting our local eating establishments with free seasonal produce as our yield expands.

Our healers who work in the garden convey the frequency of love light to the plants to encourage healthy growth and high volume yield.  We started this project in April of this year and plan to keep the garden growing year round.

We tansformed a weed occupied space, which required hours of weeding since we have committed to keep our garden space free of polutants and especially chemicals of all kinds.

We knew we were planning on the correct piece of land because of the beautiful light rays that appeared above us!

Our garden is visited each evening by a Sentinel, the Wild Warrior Boar.  He is a very young boar and has doubled in size since he first appeared in the Spring.  There are many large families of wild pigs in our community but they rarely take up residence so close to the people.  This young male has decided to stay nearby our garden; it appears to be his new territory.

Evan constructed the planter boxes with redwood lumber and he installed spun glass weed barrier and galvanized steel rodent barrier.

We filled the planter boxes with many, many yards of organic soils and mulch.

Since our garden space is limited we have planted only five fruit trees in addition to an elder Apple tree that was planted on the land 30 years ago.

...and more soils...

Irrigation was installed so we can manage the garden efficiently.

Thank you Evan!

Planting begins!

The weather has changed daily and we haven't had enough heat to encourage growth...and so we meditate for the garden each day intending the Highest Good be Served.

We work daily in the garden preparing more soil and compost since the raised beds require the rich nutrients.

Finally!  The tomatoes are finally blossoming and so perhaps we will have fruit by Fall...

The heat has hit and water is the priority now!

See the Life Spiral in the apple tree?

Meg Bourget and Dominic Genova, both healers on our team, created and constructed the Object de Art; the Platonic Solids grace our garden to infuse the plants and their environment with physical inspiration!

The summer sky has been awesome!  Each day brings some astonishing cloud formations!

Wendy was blessed with a heart in the clouds one day in July while toning in the garden!

...another view of the layout...

Tomatoes are getting bigger and small fruit are setting well.

Our warrior boar is more comfortable with us and comes much closer.  He has enjoyed the unusable apples from the orchard.

Although our yield has been lean...

... we have had cucumbers, squash and apples in anticipation...

...of those tomatoes!

It is Wendy's opinion that the plants growing directly near the platonic solids have grown larger than those that are positioned farther away from the platonic solids...
