Meg Bourget, Volunteer Administrator & Volunteer Coordinator

Meg is a native Californian who grew up among orange and olive orchards in the Sacramento Valley. The combination of a rural lifestyle and a creative family background provided fertile ground for her imagination to soar and encouraged deep thought and spiritual openness. As a teenager Meg became acquainted with Edgar Casey and Nostradamus and thus began her metaphysical pursuits.

In the 70s, Meg was told she needed surgery. Believing there was an alternative, she visited the Hippocrates Health Institute in Lemon Grove, California, to address her health challenges. Along with learning about fasting and healthful eating, she learned how meditation and visualization could aid her healing. In the process, her health issues were resolved without surgery and she became convinced of the power of the mind to heal both herself and others. Since that time she has become a talented vegetarian and raw foods cook, studied Reiki and continued on the metaphysical path.

Meg was introduced to Global Alliance in 2004 where she was able to seek more of the practices that sparked her interest in energy balancing. She earned her certification in Light Frequencies, a 40-hour intensive course offered by Wendy McKenna through Global Alliance in 2007. Since then, Meg has often participated in volunteer healing sessions offered by the center and is currently the director of programs and volunteer coordinator for Global Alliance.

Meg is an artist of mixed media and mosaic; currently focused on creating mystical decorative spheres. She lives in Grover Beach, California with her dog, Jake, and her cat, Vincent.
